There is one thing that is guaranteed to make me smile and that’s hearing a thud as my favourite design magazine Computer Arts hits the door mat. Every month I am amazed at the beautiful cover art that stares back at me from the floor. I neatly file away all my magazines after a thorough read as they are always a constant source of inspiration.
I was flicking through them the other day and once again I was taken back by the fantastically designed covers. So I thought I’d post my top 10, here we go in no particular order:
Are you loyal to a particular design mag? We’d love to know, there’s always room for good quality literature on our shelves!

I love those mag’s I have been buying them from Chapters every month for the past few years…. I love going to Chapters to check out the latest mag.
Totally agree with this article; I love these magazines, have both CA and CA Projects on subscription for many years. Very inspirational and a recommended read for anyone!

Chad - Brilliant another fan! How long has CA been coming out? I’ve only been subscribing for the last couple of years?
Caroline - I definitely think they are a read for everyone, they have a wide range of articles for beginners as well as more experienced designers. I’m not a regular subscriber of CAP, I pick that one up when it concentrates on a subject I’m particularly interested in (which tends to be most month’s!).
Mitternacht - I agree, I think that all the CA covers are truly inspirational!

Awesome covers. I’ll have to look into a subscription to CA. I enjoy reading GDUSA. Lots of good information about artists and the industry, and it’s a free subscription for creative professionals.

GDUSA looks good - especially for free, shame I can’t get it sent here in the UK. I do think CA is worth the money, it covers such a diverse range of graphic design projects and is most certainly inspirational.
